U.S. News and World Report Lists Arbrook Plaza as One of the 2014 Top Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Nation
Arlington, TX (June 1, 2014) – In thanking State Senator Brian Birdwell (R-22) for touring Arbrook Plaza, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, and meeting with residents and staff, local long term care leaders noted the facility’s recent accomplishment of being listed as one of the best nursing homes in the country by the well-respected U.S. News and World Report 2014 evaluation of quality care in America’s nursing homes.
“We were happy to share the news of our top ranking in U.S. News and World Report’s 2014 evaluation of the quality of care in America’s nursing homes with Senator Birdwell during his visit to Arbrook Plaza,” said Renato Gomes, facility administrator for Arbrook Plaza located in Arlington. “In addition to our overall ranking, we are proud to have earned the highest score possible in the category of quality measures. We appreciate Senator Birdwell taking the time to congratulate our staff and see firsthand the high level of care we provide to our senior residents at Arbrook Plaza.”
Noting the recent local Memorial Day celebrations, Birdwell, a retired Lt. Colonel and decorated war veteran, stopped to exchange combat stories with Arbor Plaza resident Perry Cummings, a WWII veteran.
