Operations

HMG Healthcare, LLC was formed for the purpose of acquiring, owning, and operating long term care businesses and facilities. The executive management team and advisors have over 175 years and one billion dollars of combined long term care experience and revenue respectively. The team has extensive experience in all facets of long-term care acquisitions, financing and operations (including new build and lease-up). HMG Healthcare’s strategy is to organize innovative, highly motivated executives and managers who have successful track records in their respective disciplines. Our operating strategy is to combine centralized management and back office processes with strong local administrators who understand their markets, referrals sources and the subtleties of the regulatory environment.

Medical Specialty Units

Our MSU is a unit designed to provide specialty medicine services at a high level of clinical sophistication in a setting that is innovatively designed, technologically advanced and aesthetically pleasing to employees, patients and their caregivers.

The MSU can take many structural forms and provide a variety of specialized clinical programs such as Pulmonary or Rehabilitation.

The following steps are followed to develop a medical specialty unit:

  • Research is completed to determine the need for a specialty program and collaboration is done with the local acute care hospitals and physicians.
  • Specific goals and programming are established for the units.
  • Key personnel is recruited and hired for the unit.
  • Medical Specialty Program is launched and marketed to the community.
