Admissions Nurse/Supervisor
(PART-TIME 10a-10p Thursday & Friday)

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate admission to patients in a care setting to provide nursing care.
- Nurse and tend patients upon admission into a healthcare facility setting.
- Assess and evaluate patient’s health for nursing care.
- Develop healthcare nursing plans in coordination with the clinicians or doctors.
- Will assist the social worker with discharges
- Coordinate with other nursing staff and healthcare team to provide nursing care.
- Ensure safe and compassionate nursing care to patients.
- Interact with patients and their families in providing health and nursing care.
- Provide hand on care to the resident based on the resident Plan of Care.
- Administer medications and provide treatment to the resident based on the physician orders.
- Must be able to identify changes in the resident condition and evaluate the resident care needs.
- Strong focus assessment skills as well as documentation skills.
- Must be able to evaluate and participate in the development of the Resident Plan of Care.
- Monitor the resident overall condition and provide care as required while maintaining compliance with the facility policy and procedures.
- May need to assist as a floor nurse if needed.
Requirements for the Registered Nurse include:
- LVN or RN in good standing
Knowledge / Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience
Licensure / Certifications:
- Current LVN or RN license in Texas
